Scania G420 LB6x2 refrigerated truck – ready to drive – extensively maintained – available from early September

For sale is a Scania G420 LB6x2 refrigerated truck, built in 2012, equipped with a Carrier Supra 850 refrigeration unit, a double-decker refrigerated body (36 pallet spaces), and a Zepro tail lift.

The truck is ready to drive. The engine and mechanical gearbox are in very good condition. The vehicle has high mileage but has been regularly maintained and repaired over the years.

The first owner was a mechanic himself and regularly inspected, maintained, and carried out necessary repairs on the vehicle. An extensive handwritten maintenance and repair list is available and can be viewed during inspection.

According to the available documentation, work has been carried out on the braking system, axles, lift axle, clutch, suspension, steering, and other wear parts over the years.

The rear lift axle has also been repaired or refurbished. Corresponding documents or invoices are available.

Already renewed / carried out:

Repair of the steering or renewal of steering lines at Scania
Work and repairs on the lift axle
Various brake and axle repairs
Clutch and release cylinder renewed according to maintenance records
Regular oil, filter, and maintenance work

Rust treatment / optical condition
The existing rust spots are currently being professionally treated.

The Zepro tail lift has already been completely freed from rust or sanded. Subsequently, rust converter was applied, and the primer has already been applied. As the next step, the tail lift will be painted.

The other planned rust and paintwork on the vehicle will also be carried out. The work is scheduled to be completed by early September 2026.

Tires
The right inner tire is worn and should be replaced.
A spare tire on a steel rim is available and will be provided with the vehicle.

Refrigeration unit
A Carrier Supra 850 refrigeration unit is installed.

The cooling system is currently not working, since approximately March/April 2026.

The cause of the defect is now known, and a repair is possible.
If desired, the cooling system can be repaired before delivery for an additional cost of €800.

Alternatively, the vehicle will be sold with the currently non-functional cooling system in its existing condition.

The vehicle currently does not have a valid §57a inspection certificate.
Due to the age and mileage, further age-related and usage-related defects or signs of wear are not excluded.
The vehicle is sold in its current condition and without warranty. Warranty excluded, as far as legally permissible.

Inspection and test drive possible by appointment. The available maintenance documents and invoices can be viewed if there is serious interest.
