For sale: Scania G420 LB6x2 refrigerated box truck (year of manufacture 2012) in used, age-appropriate condition. The truck is roadworthy, currently in operation, and runs well and reliably. The vehicle has only been used in Austria.

The truck is equipped with a refrigerated body (Carrier Supra 850), double-deck configuration (2 levels for optimal use of cargo space), tail lift (Zepro), trailer hitch, and a manual transmission. The gross vehicle weight is 26 t, with an approximate loading area of 7.5 m. Additionally, a new digital tachograph (version 4.1) has been installed, which has been mandatory for cross-border transport since 2024.

Numerous maintenance works have been carried out in recent years, including regular engine oil and filter changes (including diesel and air filters), turbocharger replacement, new clutch including slave cylinder, multiple replacements of brake discs and pads, brake cylinders and spring brakes replaced, work on drive axle and lift axle (e.g., tie rods, bearings, axle parts), shock absorbers renewed, exhaust (flex pipe and muffler) replaced, as well as various other wear and suspension components. There is also a Scania invoice available for steering and lift axle repair works.

Known defects:
The vehicle shows age-related rust spots (e.g., battery box rusty, slight rust on air tanks—may need replacement in the medium term). The trailer hitch is seized, as it has never been used.
The refrigeration unit has stopped working a few days ago—likely a fuse or relay issue. Repair can be carried out upon request or will be reflected in the price.
