Summary: After more than 20 years of loyal service, we are parting with our motorhome with mixed feelings. Given its age, the motorhome is in very good condition. The underbody is solid. Dimensions: 580x200x270 cm (LxWxH). Apart from the holiday season, it has always been stored in a dry barn. This Peugeot J7 Mirage is a true classic. The likelihood of finding another one like it is virtually nil. This vehicle left the Peugeot factory 48 years ago (!) and was immediately fitted by Mirage with a widened, raised, and extended motorhome body. Both the interior and exterior have classic styling. Above the cab there is space for two children, and the side bench can also be converted into a bed for a child. There is currently a fixed bed at the rear, but originally there was a round seating area which we never used; hence, we converted it. However, the round seating area can easily be reinstated. Plenty of storage is available in cabinets as well as under the benches. One storage compartment is also accessible through an exterior hatch. In 2001, the motorhome was renovated and equipped with a large LPG tank for cooking and heating, new water tank, electrical system, gas heater, and refrigerator (220V and 12V), and a portable chemical toilet. At that time, the (petrol) engine was also replaced with a more powerful 2.3 Indenor turbo diesel engine with 5-speed gearbox.
